Located in one of the most important Italian textile districts, AZIENDA FODERAMI DRAGONI S.p.a. was founded by Renzo and Aldo Dragoni in Gallarate, back on 1929. Specialized in producing and selling fabrics for pocketing, waistband and body lining, it reached a leadership position in the national market in short time. After World War II, the company is back into the market with an increased strength and determination.

From 1970 on, following the market change, the company developed a collection for apparel, which includes fabrics for shirting, informal wearing and trousers. With its 13 million meters yearly produced, Dragoni is selling its qualities in many European countries, Canada and USA.

Azienda Foderami Dragoni covers a surface of over 10.000 sqm and confirms to hold an important position in the European textile field, through its broadening and more and more varied offer of high-quality articles, thanks to the progress of its own human resources and its dyehouse partner "S.i.f.t.a. S.r.l.", always on the cutting edge and focused on market demands.

In fact, heading in the same direction, S.i.f.t.a. has installed avanced production and finishing machinery, and attained OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, CL 1 e STeP® certifications.

Quality

Always on the cutting edge as far as quality and environmental respect are concerned, Dragoni earned in 1996 the OEKO-TEX Standard 100® for cotton fabrics and cuprammonium fabrics by the "Centro Tessile Cotoniero e Abbigliamento di Busto Arsizio": a guarantee for the products harmful free for man's and child's health. In 2014 the company also obtained the GOTS® Certification to sell the organic cotton wovens produced and finished by its partner dyehouse S.i.f.t.a.
